Meet Your Charter Captain
Captain Steve Miller is a full-time resident of Block Island. He started running his family's boat at age six off Long Island, NY, and was apprentice mate on the Captain Lou party boat by age eight. Captain Steve joined the United States Coast Guard at age seventeen, fished commercially in his twenties, and held a 100-Ton Master Captain's License from the Coast Guard for several years.
Extensive Experience
Captain Steve has decades of fishing experience. He has fished in Mexico, Hawaii, Barbados, Costa Rica, The Virgin Islands (British and U.S.), and Cape Hatteras, NC. And, of course, he has fished from Block Island for more than 30 years. Captain Steve has been a charter captain on Block Island since the late 1990s, and you won't find a better fishing guide.
